five stars for Uncle John's alone. Jerry's solo is poignant & sweet.

Really great. Given the time, this was right around when they were in the studio recording Workingman's Dead, so some nascent takes on what would become classics. Very cool. Would love to hear the rest of the show.

Pretty good recording. Typical for the period low pigpen organ, though. he's back playing less than a week after TC's departure but low, barely audible
the so-called 'bid u goodnight jam ' which later became the coda to 'goin down the road' is actually the transition after the eleven into caution. phil tries to go back into caution after NFA to no avail as they go into cumberland. nice cow bell!!! during 2nd/3rd to last verse..
hopefully the rest of the show will surface.

Most of the show is missing but what is here is worth a listen. Like the GDTRFB jam in the eleven. Not fade away is fast and quite different to what would become. Nice to hear how the songs evolved. Good music not the best the dead have to offer from this time of transition, but glad its here.
